SANTEXWELL helps apparel brands develop and manufacture knitwear in China. Start with a design or reference sample. Development and sampling do not require a bulk order; material development, knitting and finishing can also be commissioned separately.
MOQ, sampling & service options

For consumers, knitwear is not a set of factory terms. It is smooth wearing, soft first touch, wash stability, and a clean final appearance. We treat every process as part of the final experience.

Shima Seiki, Stoll and Cixing equipment supports 1.5G-18G gauges, seamless whole garment, Fully Fashioned Garment and knit & sew. Most orders are knitted and finished in our own factory to maintain quality control; some linking work is outsourced.

DIGITAL SAMPLING / PROGRAMMING & PREVIEW
Our Shima Seiki, Cixing, and Stoll programming teams translate stitch structures, gauge, yarn colours, and construction rules into files that computerized flat-knitting machines can read. Before knitting starts, CLO 3D shows the garment silhouette, colour placement, and key details for earlier review.
01
Turn stitch, gauge, yarn, and construction rules into executable parameters.
02
Prepare readable program files for Shima Seiki, Cixing, and Stoll computerized flat-knitting machines.
03
Share front, side, back, pattern, and overall garment views before production.
A knitwear project is not decided by one process. Material, yarn count, gauge, structure, pattern, quantity, price, and timeline all interact. We start from the customer goal, then narrow those variables into a route that can be sampled, produced, and delivered.
The same sweater can be made in many ways.
SANTEXWELL helps customers choose between quality, hand feel, price, timing, and stability instead of only quoting a processing fee.
Yes. A design idea, reference sample or material direction can start the discussion. Share what you have already decided and what still needs development, along with your target cost, expected quantity and delivery window. We can then discuss feasibility and the next sampling step.
Yes. We can handle the full development and sampling process without a commitment to bulk production. Material development, knitting and finishing are also available as separate services. Tell us which stage you need and what you will supply so we can define the work and handover.
The customer supplies labels, hang tags and packaging. We do not offer ODM design services. We support yarn and material development, technical knitwear development and sampling based on your brief or reference sample.
For most orders, knitting and finishing take place in our own factory to maintain quality control. Some linking work is outsourced. If your project has specific production-site or audit requirements, include them in your brief so we can confirm the arrangements.
Yarn choice, gauge, knit structure, garment construction, order quantity and finishing or embellishment requirements all influence cost and timing. Share the target price, quantity, delivery window and sample requirements together so the project can be assessed as a whole.
The MOQ is generally 100–300 pieces per colour per style, so a style in three colours starts at 300–900 pieces. Pricing varies with order quantity, garment complexity and whether stock yarn is available. Share your styles, colours and expected quantities so we can confirm the applicable minimum and quotation. See how low-MOQ knitwear production works.
With stock yarn, a new style or a revision to an existing style typically takes about 1–1.5 weeks from your initial brief to sample dispatch. This covers sourcing yarn and trims, technical calculations, machine programming, knitting, linking, hand sewing, washing, pressing, packing and dispatch. Yarn development requires additional time. Sample development costs USD 100 per style; the fee is waived if the style proceeds to bulk production.
Bulk production takes 45–60 days after pre-production sample approval. The exact time depends on the style, order quantity, size specification and yarn choice, so share all four with your brief.
